My name is Joel Pendarvis, and first, let me “Thank You” for taking the time to consider my firm for your professional accounting needs.
After serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps, I earned my B.S. degree in Economics from California State University and a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Shortly after receiving my accounting degree, I worked as a staff accountant for several prominent corporations in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, and in August 2016 I received my license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant.
As a C.P.A., you serve a wide variety of clients from the individual, to the multi-faceted corporation. Consequently, I have had the privilege of providing accounting expertise and services in the areas of city government, non-profits, Real Estate Investment, Service Industries and more. What I have learned is diversity creates innovation and a greater understanding of how to meet the needs of my clients.
A native of Oklahoma and a real family man, I have been married to my wife, Nan, for over 25 years and am proud to call Oklahoma home. My mission is to create value and peace of mind for each client, and become a trusted business resource for my clients' professional accounting and consulting needs.
My clients choose and stay with me because they realize that I not only do everything possible to care for their business, but also because I take great interest in them. NAN PENDARVIS
Administrative Director

Nan Pendarvis, wife of Joel Pendarvis for over 25 years, is a multi-talented individual with many varied interests. She is an artist, an educator and a business entrepreneur.
She obtained an Associate of Science in Office Administration and Technology, a Bachelor of Art in Science and Art Education and a Master of Fine Art in 2D Design and Printmaking, all with high honors.
With regard to business and accounting, Nan has extensive expertise relating to office management, business accounting practices, as well as development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures. In addition, she is highly skilled on the Microsoft Office Suite, the Adobe Creative Digital Suite and many more business and creative digital applications and technologies. For close to twenty years she worked as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager for various C.P.A.s and attorneys in Oklahoma and Oregon.
After receiving her M.F.A. in 1998, she became a Professor of Art where she developed and taught a variety of collegiate courses for both on ground and online learning environments, as well as developed and managed supplemental educational programs, which serviced over 25,000 students. She also served as full-time Lead Faculty/Associate Director for the Fine Art Department of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Online Division where she was responsible for performing annual faculty evaluations, developing and implementing faculty training, assisting in departmental strategic planning, and supervising over 250 faculty members nationwide.
In addition, Nan has been an artist for over 40 years. Her work has been exhibited all over the world in such places as China, Scotland, Japan and the U.S. She works in a variety of mediums and processes such as painting, printmaking, digital art, graphic design, sculpture and more. After serving as a college art professor and administrator for more than 16 years, she retired in 2014 and established The Bird Nest Gift Shop, which has been featured on Etsy since 2015.
As you may have discovered, Nan is a Jackie of all trades and proud of it. But, her most important role, is that of being a loving wife and dedicated business partner to her husband, Joel.
